To the interview (Polish version)

When did you start interesting and later producing electronic music?
I got interested in electronic music even before my parents allowed me to go out. I would just jump out of the window and go to all kinds of parties . I was blown away with the power the dj’s had and I knew this is what I wanted. I started saving up for music equipment and before I knew it I was paying at some parties. At one of these parties I met some guys who were producing music and they invited me to their studio. From that moment I had a new dream, producing music. I wanted people to dance on my music. And not long after, they did!

Who was your biggest inspiration in the beginning of your career?
In the beginning of my career I was such a music freak. I went everywhere in Europe to find my music (vinyl). I didn’t really have one single inspiration since I listened to more styles from progressive to techno. I was fascinated by Sasha and Richie Hawtin at the same time. I guess my music is in between their styles now .

Could you tell us what are you doing at this moment? Are you producing some new tracks or making remixes?
I just finished a remix for Ferry Corsten which will be released on Armada, I also did a remix for Christopher Lawrence and John 00 Fleming. I am currently writing 2 tracks with Jan Johnston (the singer of Tiesto, Paul Van Dijk, oakenfold, etc). Besides that my new single Nothing Remains the same will be released soon. It has 5 different remixes and a videoclip.

Tell us something about your dj'ing. What kind of music do you like to play in you livesets?
I play music with good energy and strong basslines, from progressive till tech trance.

Where can we see and listen to you this summer? Will you play in Poland?
I will do a Brazilian Tour, Indian Tour, Canada, Latvia, Czech Republic, Malta, 3 big festivals in Holland and I will play mainstage at Colours of Sounds festival in Poland. (www.coloursofsounds.pl). So hope to see you all there 

What do you think about electronic music scene?
The Electronic Dance Industry has changed a lot the last few years. When I started djíng you could still get bookings because you were a talented dj, now you have to produce your own music to get noticed / booked. This is tough The recording industry has also changed because of the download industry

Who is in your opinion the most interesting producer at this moment?
The most interesting producer of the moment is Wendel Kos. He is one of the exclusive Fektive producers and he is really talented and very diverse in his productions. You can kind of compare his sound to Deadmau5 and Adam K, but with much more power. He will be huge. Check him out!

Do you know some polish producers?
For sure I do!.I am working with 2 very talented producers from Poland: Angelo Mike and Carlo Calabro. Angelo Mike you will all know, since he is the leading dj in Poland. And Carlo Calabro is a young -very talented guy- who I signed exclusively to the Fektive label, because I really believe in him.

What are your top 5 tracks of this year?
1. Ercola – Every Word (Instrumental)
2. Scandall – Aromatic
3. San – Nothing Remains the Same (Ercola Remix)
4. Wendel Kos – Sueno
5. Based West – Tidal Stream (Carlo Calabro Remix)

What do you wanna tell polish beginning dj's and producers?
Believe in your dream! It’s hard work to be successful, so if you really want this, don’t give up. These days it’s crucial to release and write your own music (to get notived and booked as a dj), so get some music software and start producing. Music is the key!
